The Maria Seva Sangha (M.S.S), a non-profit organization, is a charitable society registered under Section 12A of the Indian Income Tax Act. The Maria Seva Sangha was established in 1981 to undertake educational, medical, housing and other social activites in aid of the poor and the under-privileged of all ages, irrespective of caste, creed and community.
In pursuance of its Memorandum and Articles of Association, the M.S.S has initiated the following projects/schemes:
Education Scholarship Scheme: To support deserving students with financial aid to pursue higher professional/ technical studies.

Medical health Care Scheme: To medically examine and treat children with minor ailments, in schools, so as to improve their general health. Serious cases, when detected, are referred to specialists.
´Mathrudhan´ Social Housing Project: To develop, on land placed at our disposal by the Archdiocese of Bangalore at Krishnarajapuram, Bangalore :-
a) Sites, for low-income group persons, widows and their families.
b) Flats, for low-income group persons, widows and their families.
c) Infrastructure for the above comprising roads, electricity, water, sanitation, etc.
Senior Citizens Home: To provide care and shelter to 76 aged persons in a Home to be constructed by the end of 2010, on the land at Krishnarajapuram, given by the Archdiocese of Bangalore for this purpose.
Sponsor a Child Scheme: To enable poor deserving children in schools to get the basic education and complete their high school education, without financial constraints.
